Marble, fine wood and high-gloss varnish.
Total black and shiny white, deepest shadow and overflowing light... suprematist dreams become reality with the B&W black and white coffee tables with marble top designed by Ekaterina Elizarova. This is a limited edition series allowing for up to twelve unique copies.
The B&W striped drum side tables, although called simply “black and white coffee tables” for convenience, feature versatility in shape, size and design. Each piece can be both used solo or grouped with other tables in multiple combinations. Contrasts are one of the distinguishing features of Ekaterina Elizarova’s style, as well as the designer’s love of fine natural materials such as black marble and fine wood that are used in B&W. 100% gloss varnish enhances the natural wood surface finish of these round cocktail tables.
Just like most of the designer’s objects, the B&W high-gloss coffee tables are made in Italy. They are handcrafted by Italian artisans at the Maggiore Lake using eco-friendly technology. B&W made their first public appearance in New York City, during the festivities commemorating the 100th anniversary of Black Square by Kazimir Malevich, one of the first and the greatest works of Suprematism. The B&W black and white round cocktail tables demonstrate how the the Soviet-born art movement has influenced the aesthetics of today’s world of things, and the world of interior design in particular
